Tap for Non-Dancers
12th February, 1pm - 3pm
If you’ve ever fancied a bit of hoofing now is your chance. This workshop is designed for beginners or people who may have tapped in another life. It’ll be fun and simple; there’s a lot you can do with limited technique; you’d be surprised.
You’ll need to bring some shoes that aren’t trainers as trainers tend to stick to the floor and don’t make a very satisfying sound. A small heel for the ladies is fine but flats are fine too. For the chaps, some sort of more formal shoe but if your shoe box is full of trainers we do have some ‘going out’ shoes in the wardrobe that can be used – come early if you need to delve. If you have a pair of tap shoes at the back of the closet, then break them out but don’t buy anything special.
If you'd like to attend the workshop, please contact Patti on firstname.lastname@example.org or 07872 469 034.
The Workshop will cost £5 and will be led by Jade Doig. Please, send your payment online to:
Nat West, sort code 60-13-09, account 42326818. Please use ‘TAP’ and then your name as the reference.
You can also send a cheque made payable to Brighton Little Theatre to Patti Griffiths (Tap Workshop) at 31 George Street, BRIGHTON, BN2 1RH.
